Megan Berg starting drawing when she was seven years old. When she was in Junior High she drew many of her classmates and by High School she enjoyed drawing movie posters and celebrities' faces. She took her first art class in her senior year of High School and learned about the the different styles of art. She won a first place award for "Multi-Media Self Portrait."
It was at University that her love for art grew. She attended multiple drawing classes and found her appreciation for Charcoal. As you can see in her gallery, it is a favorite medium of hers. She started with random drawings that progressed to collages, which she thoroughly enjoys if she has an entertaining theme.
Later she attended Mount San Antonio College where she advanced her drawing skills and adopted new ones. She took several painting classes. Acrylic paint quickly became a favorite medium as well. She has painted collages, still-life, and landscapes. She has taken classes in Sculpture, Ceramics, Photography and 2 & 3 Dimensional Design. All of these classes have enhanced her skill and creative genius. She graduated with an Associates Degree in Liberal Art with emphasis in Fine Art. She enjoys all mediums of art and welcomes a challenge.
