A Parrot's Paradise

"Megan is a marvelous artist; moreover, she researches her subjects to make every detail perfect. I commissioned a painting of parrots for my husband's birthday. (He comes from Malaysia and has fond memories of the birds nesting near his childhood home.) Not only did Megan make sure to paint Malaysian parrots, but she even researched the tree they are perched on so he would recognize the branch as one of an indigenous variety.
The resulting painting is exquisite - a work of craft, supreme talent and love."

Sanctuary & Tree of Illumination

"I’ve seen much of Megan’s work, and I’ve always been impressed with her talent.  My husband and I commissioned two new works from Megan and both are stunning.  For the first piece we only gave her one guideline:  We wanted the art to include trees with faces emerging from the bark. Megan produced a striking charcoal work featuring a laughing oak tree in the forefront and a sleeping alder tree in the background, both greatly detailed and growing on the banks of a frothy river.  Our second request was nature-oriented as well:  We had seen a tee-shirt depicting a tree with its leaves and branches twisted into the Yin and Yang symbol.  We provided a photo for Megan and she created a vibrant painting of greens, reds, and yellows that replicated the picture and added her own flair as well.  Megan can create anything she sets her mind to and we would definitely commission another work from her!"

Adventure Awaits

"I had seen a few pieces that Megan had done and was very impressed by her creativity and originality.
I was wanting a wall hanging to go with a theme I have going on in my home and I gave Megan the theme idea: Sail ships of the 1800's and mystery.
After seeing her work it really should have been no surprise how amazing my picture was: With a backdrop of a weather worn treasure map depicting mysterious islands enhanced with a sail ship in the foreground braving the sea as a parrot circles overhead.  This picture perfectly augments my theme and is a completely unique and creative addition to my home hanging in the midst of my sail ship collection.  I love it."
